Two levels of training
Management
Management-Level Awareness
For building managers, facilities managers, and those responsible for maintaining premises. Covers the duty holder's legal obligations, how to read an asbestos register, how to manage contractors safely, and when to seek specialist input.
Operatives
Asbestos Awareness
For electricians, plumbers, carpenters, builders, and anyone who works in or on buildings. Covers what asbestos is, where it is commonly found, what it looks like, and critically — what to do if you suspect you've encountered it. Stop work, report, do not disturb.
Why in-person training matters
Online asbestos awareness courses are widely available and cheap. Some cost as little as €20 per person. They also have a significant limitation: nobody can ask a question.
Asbestos is a material that raises questions. What does it look like in a floor tile versus a ceiling tile? What if I've already drilled into it? What about this specific material in front of me right now? Those questions cannot be answered by a slide deck.
Our training is delivered by a surveyor with 25 years of field experience and the BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos - the highest individual qualification available. If someone in the room has a question, it gets a real answer.
Think of it this way
You can pass your driving theory test and never sit behind a wheel. It tells you very little about what happens when you're actually on the road. An online certificate tells you someone clicked through a presentation. Our training tells you someone has been taught by an expert.
What to expect
We come to you
Training is delivered on your site or premises. We bring everything needed - no venue hire, no travel costs for your team.

Half-day or full day
Sessions typically run for half a day to a full day depending on group size and the level of questions. We keep groups small to allow proper discussion.

Weekends available
We understand that many tradespeople cannot take time away from site during the week. We offer weekend sessions - something many training providers do not.

Certificates issued
All attendees receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the session.
